Hi and welcome to this JK NEWS B'HAM Crime Report:

Two Dudley men have been jailed for their roles in running drugs lines that supplied Class A substances, including cocaine and heroin, across the region.
Rahim Choudhary, 42, and Rafhan Mohammed, 40, were sentenced on October 11 at Wolverhampton Crown Court. The court heard that between 2017 and 2019, the pair operated two separate drug lines, known as the “8867 line” and the “0636 line,” through which they offered delivery of illegal drugs via mobile phone.
Following an investigation, police executed a search warrant at an address on Stourbridge Road in September 2019, leading to the arrest of both men. Officers recovered drugs, cash, mobile phones, and laptops during the raid.
Choudhary, of Stourbridge Road, received a prison sentence of over seven years, while Mohammed, of Aston Road, was sentenced to more than five years.
Two others connected to the operation received suspended sentences. Steven Barnes, 57, was handed a nine-month sentence, suspended for 18 months, and was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work. Jade Jones, 42, also received a nine-month suspended sentence and was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, along with 20 days of rehabilitation, for assisting the organised crime group.
Detective Sergeant Andy Higgins commented, “This organised crime gang was selling crack cocaine and heroin across Dudley, causing widespread harm in the community. We hope this sends a strong message to anyone involved in drug crime that we are committed to bringing offenders to justice.”
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
