Hi and welcome to this JK B'HAM Crime Report for VPN: REGIONAL NETWORKS:

Three men have been sentenced to a total of 15 years in prison for a shocking kidnapping and violent assault in Smethwick. The incident occurred in the early hours of November 25, 2023, when a man in his 40s was forcefully abducted by a thug trio consisting of Mohammed Jamil (39), Mohammed Saadh (23), and Idris Ahmed (28), reportedly regarding a debt.

The attackers bundled him into a Seat Leon and took him to a banqueting suite, where they subjected him to a horrifying ordeal.

In a horrific series of sadistic acts, the man was stripped naked, viciously beaten, burned with cigarettes, and repeatedly struck with a metal pole. The barbarity lasted several hours, leaving the victim with severe injuries and psychological trauma before he was eventually released.

A prompt police investigation led to the arrests of Mohammed Jamil (39), Mohammed Saadh (23), and Idris Ahmed (28), following raids on the banqueting suite and other locations in Walsall. The men pleaded guilty to kidnapping at Wolverhampton Crown Court and were sentenced on July 26, 2024. Jamil and Saadh received five years and three months each, while Ahmed was sentenced to four years and six months.

Detective Sergeant Craig Ryder of the Major Crime Team condemned the attack as horrifically cruel, emphasizing the lasting impact on the victim. He expressed hope that the convictions would bring some measure of justice and closure to the victim, who suffered a deeply traumatic experience.

Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
