The then-13-year-old was first taken to the Castle Keep in Newcastle by the Brothers, where she vomited due to the large ammount of alcohol she had already been groomed and plied with to the extent by this stage she couldn't walk properly.
Mohamed Badreddin then sexually assaulted and raped her then left her for his brother Omar Badreddin to rape her as another member of the gang, Hamoud Al-Soaimi, laughed. She was then further sexually assaulted and raped by the brothers behind a Five Guys restaurant and even at her own home.
Following their trial at Newcastle Crown Court The Syrian Grooming gang have now been jailed for a total of 36 years.
The Badreddin brothers, who were also involved in a disturbance as part of the Black Lives Matter movement while awaiting trial for the serious offenses against the girl, were convicted of multiple counts of rape and sexual assault, along with Huzaefa Aleboud and Hamoud Al-Soaimi.
Additionally, the brothers admitted to engaging in violent behavior during a clash between Black Lives Matter demonstrators and the North East Frontline Patriots in 2020, despite being on bail and prohibited from the city center. During the incident, Omar threw two bottles, and Mohamed threw a missile.
Following the sentencing of three out of the four offenders, the young girl from South Tyneside described the profound impact of the crimes.
She reflected on her once happy childhood, lamenting, "That's when it all went wrong. It's because of them I feel I've been robbed of my childhood, which should have been a happy time. I can never reclaim that lost innocence."
Describing the ordeal as a "living nightmare," she recounted spending her days in Newcastle enduring torment at their hands.
"No one, especially a young girl, should endure such horrors," she expressed. "The pain was so unbearable that I resorted to self-harm in an attempt to cope."
These scars, both physical and emotional, will forever serve as reminders of the trauma she endured.
"My family fell apart upon learning of my ordeal. It must have been devastating for my mother to hear about the atrocities inflicted upon me. She was the first person I confided in and has stood by me throughout this lengthy and arduous journey. It saddens me to see her endure so much pain.
I was overwhelmed with anger, resorting to destructive behavior like pulling out clumps of hair and punching walls. I felt like I was losing control, spiraling into despair.
Nightmares plagued my sleep, leaving me feeling as though insects were crawling all over me. I would take multiple baths in a futile attempt to rid myself of the sensation.
Both I and my family desperately needed help, but it was agonizingly slow to arrive, particularly for my mental well-being.
I now feel unable to venture into the city center for fear of encountering their associates. The torment inflicted by those men has left lasting scars.
Upon learning of their guilty verdict after significant delays in the case, I felt physically ill and now struggle to process the overwhelming numbness.
My experience has been nothing short of horrendous, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. It feels as though my life has been irreparably shattered, and I'm uncertain if I'll ever find peace. The memories haunt me relentlessly, and despite their impending sentence, it feels as though I've been sentenced to a lifetime of suffering.
Over the years, I've endured immeasurable pain, yet it feels as though I'm the one serving a never-ending punishment." - 'How can this be right when I've done nothing wrong.'?
Judge Amanda Rippon said of the girl, who told them she was 15: 'She was callously controlled, manipulated and abused by all of you to different degrees, sometimes one after another. She was used as a toy, particularly by your Mohamed Badreddin and you Omar Badreddin.
'Even when she begged you to treat her more kindly and told you, truthfully, she was harming herself and couldn't cope, you made fun of her.'
Judge Rippon said: 'After that for about nine months she was the group's to do with as they wished, as long as she was given alcohol and cigarettes and promises of love and a better life. She tried to learn your language.
'You told her she would have to convert to Muslim and she started reading the Koran.
'In return she was repeatedly raped, assaulted, abused and passed around.'
Mohamed Badreddin, known as 'Jokey', carried out a number of sex attacks, including rapes, on a pile of rocks at the Castle Keep. In one of the attacks, others were present. The court heard she felt she couldn't say anything to the Badreddin brothers because they had threatened to kill her and take her out of the country.
Omar Badreddin, known as 'Antonio', also raped the girl at the Castle Keep on more than one occasion and behind Five Guys in the city centre.
Aleboud sexually assaulted her at the Castle, badgering her by saying 'you let Jokey and Omar'. He went on to rape her at the same location more than once and also behind Five Guys. Aleboud also assaulted her, hitting her and making her lip bleed.
Al-Soaimi sexually assaulted the same girl, including at the Castle Keep, where he told her 'It's my turn now'. He also sexually assaulted a 12-year-old, who said she was left feeling anxious, distressed and struggling to cope..
Newcastle Crown Court handed down the following sentences:
Mohamed Badreddin, aged 23, was found guilty of six counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration, resulting in a prison term of 13 years.

Additionally, all defendants were instructed to sign the sex offenders register and will be subject to sexual harm prevention orders and restraining orders for the rest of their lives.
The court took into account various factors, including Mohamed Badreddin's upbringing during the conflict in Syria, Omar Badreddin's expression of remorse, Aleboud's history as a cancer survivor and refugee from Syria, and Al-Soaimi's youth and vulnerability upon arriving in the UK from Syria in 2016 at the age of 15.
