Somalian Predator Ahmed Deq Mohamed Convicted: of Sexual Assault on a Young Girl under 13 Years-Old!

SOMALIAN PEDOPHILE AHMED DEG MOHAMED, 20, ( 05.01.2004 ) of Acacia Close, SE8 has been convicted of the serious sexual assault of a girl under 12 Years-of-Age. This incident, which occurred in June 2023, shook the local community and prompted a swift and thorough investigation by law enforcement.
Detectives, under the Command of Detective Constable Oliver Colville, pursued Mohamed with determination, swiftly apprehending him within five days of the crime. Through meticulous forensic analysis, Mohamed's DNA was linked to the assault, providing critical evidence for his arrest and subsequent conviction.
Mohamed has now been sentenced to four years and six months in jail with 12 months on license after he appeared at Inner London Crown Court on 22 May. He was previously found guilty of sexually assaulting a child under 13 by penetration, following a trial at the same court.
Mohamed was found guilty on Friday, 16 February following a trial at Inner London Crown Court.
He will now also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and be place on the Sexual Offenders Register upon his release.
Detective Constable Oliver Colville, who led the investigation, remarked: "I want to commend the victim for coming forward to the police and reporting Mohamed's reprehensible behavior. Her compelling video testimony, combined with the forensic evidence we gathered, was instrumental in securing Mohamed's conviction.
"Throughout this trial, the victim and her family have received specialized care and support, and this support will continue following today's sentencing. Mohamed's significant jail time underscores our commitment to taking every case seriously. I hope this case encourages other victims of sexual offenses to come forward and speak with us."
Mohamed's case underscores the urgent need to address sexual violence within immigrant communities and to implement measures aimed at prevention and support for survivors.
