Shocking Attack in Leicester Square: Man Arrested After Stabbing Mother and Daughter in Broad Daylight!

A man is in custody following the stabbing of an 11-year-old girl and a 34-year-old woman in London’s Leicester Square, a bustling hub in the heart of the UK capital.

Metropolitan Police were called to the scene after reports of the attack, which took place near a popular toy store in the well-known tourist destination. Upon arrival, officers apprehended the suspect, who is currently being held in custody. Authorities have confirmed that there are no other suspects being sought in connection with the incident.

Both victims were swiftly transported to the hospital for treatment. The young girl suffered injuries that, while serious, are not believed to be life-threatening. The woman sustained less severe injuries, described by authorities as "minor."

Photos circulating on social media show a heavy police presence and a cordon set up in the area, underscoring the severity of the incident. At this stage, the Metropolitan Police have stated that there is no evidence to suggest the attack was terror-related.

Leicester Square, a major landmark in London known for its theatres, shops, and restaurants, attracts both tourists and locals alike, making the incident particularly alarming.
