Hi and welcome to this Jason King Insight:

Birmingham school worker STEVEN HANNA, 41, has been jailed for seven years after pleading guilty to multiple charges including voyeurism and sexual assault of a child. Staff and pupils at the school he worked at are reeling from his abuse of his position of trust, with many students receiving counselling.
Hanna was initially reported to police by a 12-year-old girl after he lured her into his office and pressed his penis up against her back. After reporting the sexual assault the girl was left feeling let down, as she was told by police that there was no realistic prospect of conviction. Hanna, a popular figure, was allowed to return to work. The girl later suffered distress from allegations that she had made up the story.
When further allegations surfaced, police searched Hanna's phone and found numerous upskirt recordings he had made of schoolgirls, and occasionally staff, as well as other indecent images.
He expressed remorse and pleaded guilty to all 17 charges. Sentencing him to seven years in prison, Judge Heidi Kubik KC said : "The particular factors that give rise for concern are of course the grossest breach of trust. There was evidence of some grooming and manipulation of some of the children. The sheer number of separate victims, both children and adults and the period over which your offending had clearly become an established pattern of behaviour."
The school's headmaster acknowledges the serious effort it has had on the school, with an increase in absences and ongoing suspicions among pupils.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
