Reasha Geddes Charged Over Dudley Road Knife Attack

Following a horrific stabbing caught on camera which led to four arrests on suspicion of attempted murder, a man has now been named and charged.
Reasha Geddes, 34, has been charged in connection with the attack that occurred on Dudley Road in Birmingham and was remanded into custody at court.
The incident took place on last Friday night (23rd August, 24th
August). The victim, a man in his 40s, was attacked shortly before 1:30 AM and sustained a stab injury to the neck. He was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Local sources have stated that the victim is well-known in the area as a homeless man of good character who collects unwanted items to sell. Footage showed him with his cart at the scene, which many viewers mistook for a pram. He was seemingly accompanied by dog and a woman.
Reasha Geddes has been charged with wounding and possession of a knife.
While the full facts of this case are yet to come to light, the nature of the footage shared online has led to considerable concern regarding violence and safety on our streets.
Many had believed that the victim had been pushing a child in a pushchair, however it later emerged that he was pushing belongings in a cart.
