Hi and welcome to this JK B'HAM Crime Report for VPN: REGIONAL NETWORKS:

A 22-year-old man has been jailed for over two decades after carrying out a violent knife attack in Smethwick last August.
Obeidulla Waffa was sentenced to 21 years in prison following his conviction for attempted murder at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
The attack, which took place in Victoria Park on 19 August 2023, left the victim—who is in his 30s—severely wounded and requiring life-saving surgery after being stabbed multiple times in the arm and chest.
Waffa, of Cheshire Road, Smethwick, was arrested earlier this year after officers spotted him in Cape Hill. Upon his arrest, a knife was found concealed in his waistband, leading to an additional charge of possession of an offensive weapon.
He was sentenced on 3 October after being found guilty of attempted murder and admitting to the weapon charge.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
