NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL HORROR: Man Caught with Loaded Gun Among Families!

Hi and welcome to this video production news update.

A man has been sentenced to five years in prison after police seized a loaded Glock pistol he had concealed in a bum bag during the Notting Hill Carnival. Jade Charles, 35, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition at Southwark Crown Court in September 2023.

The joint investigation by the Metropolitan Police and City of London Police led to Charles' arrest after officers observed him acting suspiciously on CCTV during 'Children's Day' at the Carnival. Officers discovered the firearm in a bum bag left by Charles on Ashmore Road W9.

Detective Constable Andrew Payne emphasized the risk posed to the public by Charles' possession of the firearm, highlighting the potential for violent offenses on the crowded streets. The swift action of the police likely prevented harm to innocent bystanders.

Children’s Day, traditionally held on the middle Sunday of the Carnival, attracts families to the event.

Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
