Hi and welcome to this Jason King B'ham Insight for VPN: REGIONAL NETWORK:

After a brave abuse survivor came forward to authorities, MUBARAK ALI, one of Britains most notorious abusers and traffickers of girls, has been sentenced to another 12 years in jail. The 32-year old victim revealed abuse she underwent at the hands of Ali and multiple Telford associates after being groomed starting at the age of 12.
Ali was a ringleader convicted in the Telford Grooming Gang scandal in 2012. He has shown no remorse for his actions, where he lured vulnerable children into enslavement for his own sexual purposes and exposed them to further abuse from acquaintances.
He was let out early on licence after serving half of his previous 14-year sentence, however he immediately broke his conditions, resulting in him being speedily sent back to jail.
Midway though his latest trial, Ali pleaded guilty to sex trafficking, rape, and sexual activity with a child. His two new 6-year sentences were ordered to run one after the other, landing him another 12-year prison sentence.
Originally approached by Ali as a child of 12, the abuse survivor believed he loved her and would be her protecter offering her much-sought-after stability. He had made reference to them beginning a future sexual relationship at the time when she would turn 16. However, the court heard how he plied her with alcohol, cannabis and money and began sexual relations when the girl was 14.
The child, who had written his name in her schoolbooks and considered him her boyfriend, was unable to recognise her victim status at the hands of a cruel, manipulative and dominating individual, did not report her ordeal until after she had seen Ali brought to justice for the first time.
However, while still a teenager, the survivor increasingly she began to question Ali's control of her. With his initial 'loverboy' spell now wearing off, Ali showed a new face, introducing chilling threats and violence into the relationship.
The abuse of the vulnerable victim, who was presented to associates of Ali as if she were a 'prostitute', has had profound effects on her life and is something which she bravely battles with to this day, with support of friends and family. The overall number of women who had been subjected to such abuse, in similar circumstances, is not known.
The initial police investigation identified a potential 110 victims, with 200 predatory abusers. A later investigation by reporters found a potential 1000 abusers.
This gives a chilling second meaning to the phrase 'historic sexual abuse', whereby the abuse of vulnerable girls centred around the Shropshire town of Telford, with a population of 170,000, occurred on such a scale as to be a national scandal which enters British history's as something the nation must never forget and must learn urgent lessons from.
A new Government Task Force is a sign that the public's deep concern regarding this issue cannot be ignored without risk of losing votes at election.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
