Hi and welcome to this JK B'HAM Crime Report for VPN: REGIONAL NETWORKS:

Two women, Faye Gowdy and Bethany Donohue, have been convicted for assisting a murderer attending to escape justice. Ashley Donald murdered Andrew Flamson in a dispute over drug debts and Gowdy, Donald's mother, and Donohue, his partner, helped him flee to Ireland two days after the incident by providing money and ferry tickets.
Detailed police investigations involving phone records, CCTV footage, and bank transactions revealed their involvement. Both women were arrested on 19 July 2022. Donald returned to the UK in September and was sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum term of 23 years, following his conviction for murder.
Donald drove a car the wrong way on a one-way street in Coventry, deliberately hitting Flamson, who died three days later from fatal head injuries.
Three other men in the car were convicted of manslaughter and received sentences ranging from 12 to 15 years.
Gowdy, 44, and Donohue, 23, were convicted of assisting an offender and will be sentenced on 12 August at Leamington Crown Court. Detective Inspector Tom Lyons emphasized the gravity of using a car as a weapon and the unacceptability of assisting the perpetrator in evading justice.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
