Hi and welcome to this Jason King Insight for VIDEO PRODUCTION NEWS - REGIONAL CRIME CORRESPONDENTS NETWORK:

In a sinister exposure of the secretive and violent world of organised crime, we bring you the story of Wolverhampton resident Neil Julka, 35, who was sentenced to seven years in prison after a series of violent events led authorities to uncover his extensive drug trafficking operation.

It all began in May 2020, when police investigated a disturbing incident of violent disorder which had left two individuals with severe head injuries. The perpetrators, armed with weapons, struck the victims before fleeing the scene with stolen car keys.

Law enforcement identified Julka as a suspect in this armed attack. Hot on his trail and eager to bring him to justice, West Midlands Police officers visited Julka at Glaisdale Gardens in Whitmore Reans, where he resided. With a meticulous search of Julka's premises, they unearthed a staggering £130,000 worth of drugs stashed away in his loft. The cache included heroin, cocaine, and cannabis, underscoring the harmful nature of Julka's illicit activities. Alongside the narcotics, a substantial sum of cash was also seized, further corroborating the scale of his criminal enterprise.

At Wolverhampton Crown Court, Julka stood trial for his reign of terror and faced the consequences of his actions. With charges ranging from possession of drugs with intent to supply to violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon, he was convicted and ultimately handed a seven-year sentence for his crimes.

Police do all they can to uncover individuals running major drug operations, however, when those individuals lead authorities to an extensive hidden drugs stash all by themselves, the public and the police may be justified in considering this a welcome turn of events.

Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
