Hi and welcome to this JK B'HAM Crime Report for VPN: REGIONAL NETWORKS:

The two killers of Terrell Marshall-Williams, who had previously been convicted of murdering the teenager, have now been jailed.
At Wolverhampton Crown Court today, Mpho Obi, 23, of Strathfield Walk, Merry Hill, was handed life imprisonment and told to serve a minimum of 28 years. Omari Lauder, 24, of Wolverhampton Street, Darlaston, was also jailed for life with a minimum of 24 years.
The two men had denied murder and possessing an offensive weapon but were convicted following a four-week trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court, concluded in May. Obi had admitted possessing with intent to supply both heroin and crack cocaine before the trial, while Lauder was found not guilty of the same charges.
On the evening of September 18, 2022, the two defendants went to a flat armed with a large Rambo knife. Terrell Marshall-Williams, 16, was already at the location with a friend. Lauder and Obi carried out a ferocious attack, stabbing Terrell multiple times and leaving him to die. Lauder was also injured in the incident.
Paramedics arrived and performed CPR on Terrell, but he died at the scene. CCTV footage showed Lauder and Obi in the area where the murder occurred, discarding clothing, drugs, and a mobile phone in a nearby field. Officers recovered these items and the blood-stained Rambo knife.
Following the murder, the two men were picked up by a taxi. CCTV footage showed Lauder being dropped off at his home on Wolverhampton Street, Darlaston, where officers found a trail of blood leading to the front door and signs that Lauder had tried to self-administer first aid.
Obi's phone was seized, revealing a message sent shortly after the murder in which he boasted about stabbing someone. Obi was arrested on September 18, and Lauder was arrested at Walsall Hospital two days later, where he sought treatment, claiming he had been chased by a dog and impaled himself on a fence.
Detective Inspector Dan Jarratt, who led the investigation, said: “No sentence will bring Terrell back, but we welcome today’s sentences and hope it goes some way towards helping his heartbroken family come to terms with what has happened and allow them to begin to rebuild their lives. They conducted themselves impeccably and with dignity throughout the trial. The investigation team worked tirelessly to secure justice for Terrell and the judge praised the hard work undertaken to gather the evidence to successfully convict these two men of murder.
“This case is yet another stark reminder of the deadly consequences of carrying knives. West Midlands Police is working tirelessly to tackle knife crime and I implore the public to work with us to achieve this.”
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
