Hi and welcome to this Video Production News Court Report:

A tragic series of events unfolded in Richmond, leading to the death of a young watch dealer following a high-value robbery. Junior Kunu, 29, has been charged with the theft of £2 million worth of luxury watches from 247 Kettles, a watch dealership on Kew Road, Richmond.
This robbery occurred on May 25th, and it is alleged that Kunu, along with an accomplice still at large, posed as customers before violently carrying out the heist. During the robbery, Oliver White, the 27-year-old sales manager at the store, was placed in a chokehold while the thieves made away with a significant number of expensive timepieces.
The aftermath of this violent incident was devastating. Oliver White was found dead in woodland in Shepperton, Surrey, the day after the robbery. Surrey Coroner's Court heard that White had died from suspension, with Metropolitan Police stating that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
However, the harrowing nature of the robbery and its impact on Mr. White has left his family and colleagues in deep mourning. In a statement, his family expressed their profound grief, stating that Oliver returned home traumatized and unable to speak after the attack, which they believe led to his subsequent suicide.
At his court appearance, Kunu, from Mitcham, South London, was remanded in custody at Bromley Magistrates Court. He faces charges of robbery and is due to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on July 4th. The court heard that Kunu and his accomplice executed the robbery in the middle of the day, sweeping up nearly £2 million worth of luxury watches. During his appearance, Kunu kept his head bowed and spoke only to confirm his personal details.
A spokesman for 247 Kettles expressed profound sadness over Oliver's death, describing him as a beloved friend and dedicated employee who left a lasting impact on the watch community.
The store has temporarily closed to mourn his loss. Detective Chief Inspector Scott Mather of the Metropolitan Police has urged anyone with information regarding the robbery to come forward, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to provide answers to Oliver's grieving family.
This case highlights the tragic intersection of violent crime and its devastating emotional toll on victims and their families. As the investigation continues, the community remains united in grief and in the pursuit of justice for Oliver White.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
