Hi and welcome to this Jason King B'ham Insight for VPN: REGIONAL NETWORK:

Five teenagers have been found guilty for their roles in the killing of Junior Osborne in Leicester last year. Osborne, 50, was stabbed in the neck on Narborough Road shortly after 9:30 PM on September 27. He was transported to Leicester Royal Infirmary and died approximately an hour later.

CCTV footage revealed Osborne was followed and attacked by a group, who then fled the scene. The motives for the attack remain unclear.

Two 16-year-old boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and 18-year-old James Williams were arrested on September 28. Moises Steiner, 18, was arrested in the early hours of September 29. Examination of Steiner’s phone revealed videos of the group holding large knives, matching the clothing seen in the CCTV footage. On December 4, Theobald Budzwa, 18, also known as Thendo, was also arrested and charged.

Following a five-week trial at Leicester Crown Court, one of the 16-year-old boys was found guilty of murder and possession of a bladed article. The other 16-year-old boy, Budzwa, Steiner, and Williams were found guilty of manslaughter and possession of a bladed article.

All five are scheduled to be sentenced at Leicester Crown Court on June 11

Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
