Hi and welcome to this JK News Update.

A drug dealer has been sentenced to over seven years in prison after West Midlands Police officers uncovered two firearms and a considerable quantity of class A drugs during a raid on a residence in Wolverhampton.
Acting on local intelligence, officers from the Priority Crime Team executed a warrant at a property in Whitmore Reans. During a thorough search of the premises, officers made a chilling discovery of two handguns concealed in one of the bedrooms.
Further inspection revealed quantities of drugs in the living room and kitchen, including heroin and cocaine, indicating the sort of world Hodge had gotten himself involved in. These incriminating items were promptly seized and bagged up along with other telltale items - multiple mobile phones, an essential tool of this grim trade, as well as drug paraphernalia, and a significant sum of unnaccounted-for cash.
Hodge, a resident of Chester Street, didn't see a way out and not wanting to make things worse for himself, pleaded guilty to possessing a prohibited firearm as well as the deadly narcotics headed for the streets. His sentencing occurred on March 15 at Wolverhampton Crown Court, where he was handed a jail term of seven years and two months.
DC Sean Lowe, from the Major Crime Unit, who led the investigation was able sum up a successful outcome. "Not only is this a positive result with a dealer locked up for a number of years, but we have also removed firearms from the streets," he stated.
The grim discovery of weapons which were most likely intended to cause death highlights the continued need to tackle criminal culture within the region and for members of the community to continue to provide law enforcemrnt agencies with vital tip-offs which could save lives.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned and stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
