Hi and welcome to this video production news update.

In a brazen display of violence, a group of mourners gathered at St Aloysius Church in Euston found themselves under attack during a funeral service. The perpetrators, identified as Tyrell Lacroix, Jashy Perch, Jordan Walters, and Alrico Nelson-Martin, unleashed both barrels of a sawn-off shotgun, injuring four women and two young girls, aged 11 and seven, in January 2023.
The victims bore the brunt of the attackers' callous disregard for human life. Among them, a young girl sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including one dangerously close to her heart. Her poignant question to her mother, "Mummy, why has this happened to me?" echoed the innocence shattered by the senseless violence.
Sentencing Information:
At Kingston Crown Court, Tyrell Lacroix, known by his stage name T. Scam, faced justice for his role in orchestrating the attack, driven by a desire for revenge following a prior altercation with a rival gang member. Alongside his accomplices, he received the following sentences:
- Tyrell Lacroix: 21 years in jail with an additional five years on licence.
- Jashy Perch: 16 years in prison with a further four years on licence, along with charges for possession of an offensive weapon and cannabis.
- Jordan Walters: Sentenced to 13 years behind bars.
- Alrico Nelson-Martin: Received a 14-year prison sentence, coupled with charges for possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life.
In the aftermath of the shooting, the victims grappled with physical injuries and psychological trauma. One woman, left with debilitating injuries affecting her hearing and balance, expressed the profound impact of the incident on her life.
The young girl, with a shotgun pellet still embedded dangerously close to her heart, serves as a poignant reminder of the lasting scars inflicted by this brutal attack.
DI Darren Jones, from the Specialist Crime Trident Investigation team, condemned the perpetrators for inflicting fear and horror on the streets of London. He emphasized the importance of holding them accountable for their actions and providing justice to the victims and their families.
As the community reckons with the aftermath of this heinous act, the enduring question remains: how do we ensure that such violence does not shatter the fabric of our society?
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
